Side Effects of becoming a Beachbody Coach

What comes to mind when you think about the people that you work with?
I have worked in Negative environments in my past and it is a really BIG part of why I continue to work hard for myself.


As a Beachbody Coach My team is amazing and not only did they step up and help me out when I was not feeling well, we work together to help each other each and every day. 
No One is trying to beat the other, hide what has brought them success, or put down others to make them look good.


Not Everyday in this business is easy.... Life happens to all of us, and we are not perfect. We get sick, we have family illness, surgeries, and even deaths. All of it, I have been through in the last 5 years of this business. That being said, with it came No Worry that my team wouldn't have my back, my income would be non-existent, and the fear of running out of personal days and/or sick days at my job.
Peace of Mind, Valuable friendships, and Working diligently for your Dreams.

PUMPKIN NO BAKE ENERGY BITES

PUMPKIN NO BAKE ENERGY BITES

I found this recipe while surfing some new clean eating sites and it just might be one of the most 
amazing things I have ever tasted!  
I love fall, pumpkin, and oatmeal and these little bites are just the ticket 
to a clean healthy snack!!!  I'm in heaven!  Now, to not eat them all in one sitting!

Ingredients
  • 8 oz. (about 1 packed cup) chopped dates
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 Tbsp. chia seeds or flax seeds
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats (dry, not cooked)
  • 1 cup toasted coconut flakes
  • 1 cup toasted pepitas (pumpkin seeds)

Method
Combine the dates, honey, pumpkin puree, chia (or flax) seeds, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and salt in a food processor, and pulse until smooth and combined.
Transfer the mixture to a large bowl, and stir in the oats, coconut flakes and pepitas until evenly combined. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Once the mixture is cool (and easier to work with), use a spoon or cookie scoop to shape it into your desired size of energy balls. (Mine were about 1-inch in diameter.) Alternately, you can line a small baking pan with parchment paper, and press the mixture evenly into the pan, let it cool, and then cut into bars.
Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
 (Storing them in the refrigerator especially helps the energy bites hold their shape.)

Core De Force Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal

Who wants Pumpkin pie for breakfast??
 I am having a TON of Fun creating New Meal Ideas for my accountability group doing Core De Force!! This is definitely the fun part for me!!

We are going to hit it hard with our workouts—but when it comes to nutrition, figuring out what to eat shouldn’t be a battle. I like to keep things interesting on my plate and show exactly how to get results in the kitchen, without suffering from food boredom!!

Making your oatmeal taste like pumpkin pie is as delicious as it is healthy! Pumpkin puree and spices add flavor without adding fat. Crunchy pecans and a touch of maple syrup add the finishing touches.
Core De Force containers: 2 yellow 1/2 purple and 1 teaspoon

Core De Force Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal


Total Time: 30 min.
Prep Time: 5 min.
Cooking Time: 25 min.
Yield: 2 servings
Ingredients:
1¼ cups water
½ cup steel-cut oats (or old-fashioned rolled oats)
½ cup pumpkin puree
½ pumpkin pie spice
1 Tbsp. chopped pecans (or walnuts)
2 tsp. pure maple syrup (or raw honey)
½ cup unsweetened almond milk
Preparation:
1. Bring water to boil in medium saucepan over medium heat. Add oats; cook over medium-low heat, stirring frequently, for 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from heat.
2. Add pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, and pecans; mix well.
3. Divide evenly between two serving bowls; top each with maple syrup and ¼ cup almond milk.
Tip: When using old-fashioned rolled oats, reduce cooking time to 5 to 7 minutes.
